Biofilm developing in industrial water systems, cooling systems, pipelines, and tanks can reduce plant efficiency, destabilise processes, and increase operating costs.

At W EHT, we carry out professional sanitisation of industrial water and process systems, reducing biofilm, environmental bacteria, and the risk of secondary contamination in installations.

Simply rinsing
with water

It only removes loose contaminants from the installation, but does not eliminate biofilm, which can remain in pipelines, tanks, heat exchangers and cooling systems.

Sanitisation
EHT

It breaks down biofilm structure, limits microbial development and helps restore stable operating conditions for industrial water systems.

Every industry faces different challenges. We tailor our solutions accordingly.

Water recovery and recycling systems
Stable water microbiology after recovery processes

Sanitisation supports the microbiological control of water in closed systems, reducing the risk of secondary contamination and water quality instability.

Cooling systems and cooling towers
Biofilm reduction and improved heat exchange efficiency

The process helps to limit the growth of biofilm and environmental bacteria, which can affect the safety and efficiency of cooling systems.

Tanks and process pipelines
Microbiologically cleaner distribution and storage systems

Sanitisation helps to reduce biofilm, bacteria and secondary contamination in tanks, pipes and technological systems.

Process and technological water
Greater stability of industrial processes

Monitoring the microbiology of water helps to maintain production safety, minimise process contamination and improve the reliability of the systems.

Heat exchangers and installation components
Protection of key points from biological deposits

Reducing biofilm in hard-to-reach areas helps to maintain the efficiency of the installation and reduces the risk of a deterioration in the system’s performance.

High-risk industrial installations
Modern microbiology control in demanding environments

EHT technology supports the sanitisation of production systems, industrial infrastructure and installations requiring a high level of operational stability.

What are the benefits of our sanitisation service?

Business continuity support for installations Reducing biofilm and contamination helps to minimise the risk of a deterioration in operating performance and unplanned maintenance downtime.

Greater efficiency of technological systems Microbiologically cleaner systems help to ensure the stable operation of cooling systems, water circuits and industrial processes.

Reduced risk of secondary contamination: Eliminating sources of contamination in installations limits the recurrence of microbiological problems and improves process safety.

Lower operating and maintenance costs: Stable microbiology in installations helps to reduce failures, additional cleaning, downtime, and system maintenance costs.

Modern industrial microbiology control: EHT technology supports the maintenance of high operational stability in installations requiring constant hygienic supervision.

The sanitisation process, step by step

Analysis of the installation and contamination

We identify the presence of biofilm and the level of microbiological contamination. We collect water samples and carry out tests to determine the scale of the problem and select appropriate process parameters.

Selection of process parameters

We select the concentration and application conditions for chlorine dioxide (ClO₂). We take into account the specific characteristics of the system, flow rates and process requirements.

Sanitisation implementation

We are carrying out a biofilm elimination process in the installation. Sanitisation is performed under the supervision of engineers, without the need for long production downtimes.

Effectiveness verification

We confirm the results of the process with microbiological testing. We perform swabs and ATP tests to confirm the elimination of biofilm and the effectiveness of sanitisation.

FAQ

You most often ask

Where does biofilm most commonly form in industrial systems?

Biofilm can develop in pipework, tanks, cooling systems, heat exchangers, process systems, and water recovery and recirculation systems.

It can worsen the operating parameters of the installation, limit system efficiency, increase the risk of contamination, and raise operational and maintenance costs.

Yes. Sanitisation supports the limitation of biofilm and microorganisms in cooling systems, which can improve system operational stability and support heat exchange efficiency.

These are most commonly installation biofilm, environmental bacteria, Legionella, Pseudomonas, secondary installation contamination and microbiological instability of water processes.

The process helps to limit biofilm, stabilise the microbiology of water systems, reduce the risk of secondary contamination and support the continuous operation of the installation.
